Protect all children against RSV through national vaccination programme

The Health Council recommends that in the short term, all children in their first year of life should be offered protection against RSV through the state vaccination programme. They can be protected against RSV by giving them antibodies. Another way to protect them is vaccination of pregnant women. The council prefers to give antibodies to children, as this way more children can be protected.
