New Anticoagulants: A well-dosed introduction
New anticoagulation medications for patients with (risk of) thrombosis must be introduced under certain conditions. The new medications have great advantages for patients and the results of clinical studies into the safety and effectiveness of this appear to be promising. But now the question is whether they also yield more health benefits compared to current medications, for acceptable costs. This is what the Health Council writes in an advisory report to the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport.
