Chloramphenicol; Evaluation of the effects on reproduction, recommendation for classification

In the present report, the Health Council of the Netherlands reviewed chloramphenicol. Chloramphenicol is as a broad-spectrum antibiotic that in the Netherlands is used for the treatment of eye infections in humans and dogs and cats. This report is part of a series, in which the Health Council evaluates the effects of substances on reproduction, at the request of the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment.
