Eyes on Brussels. Dutch health research and the shaping of the European agenda

The coordination of Dutch input to European health research could be improved. The government and the health sector are each working in their own interests, with the result that they are not always in concert and their initiatives sometimes compete with each other. Those are among the points emphasised by the Health Council in its report Eyes on Brussels, which was submitted to the State Secretary for Education, Culture and Science, the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport and the Minister of Economic Affairs on 28 November 2012.
