Population Screening Act: the Maastricht Study

Within the context of the Population Screening Act (WBO) the Committee on Population Screening of the Health Council gave a positive recommendation to the Minister of Health on May 30, 2013 for the application for authorisation by research institute CARIM (Maastricht UMC +) for the so-called Maastricht Study. This study of type 2 diabetes has been running since 2010. The researchers now want to add a number of studies that requires authorisation.
