Penicillamine - Evaluation of the effects on reproduction, recommendation for classification
In the present report, the Health Council of the Netherlands reviewed penicillamine. Penicillamine is used as a chelator in Wilson's disease, in copper, mercury and lead intoxications. It can be prescribed in case of cystinuria and rheumatoid arthritis. This report is part of a series, in which the Health Council evaluates the effects of substances on reproduction, at the request of the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment.
