Population Screening Act: study into a self-test for familial risk for breast cancer

The Health Council of the Netherlands advises the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport to grant Radboudumc in Nijmegen in the Netherlands a permit to study if (extra) anxiety is associated with an online questionnaire form familial risk for breast cancer within the regular population based screening programme for breast cancer. The Committee on Population Screening expects that the study provides an opportunity to gather more knowledge about familial breast cancer in the Netherlands.
