Checking checked: appropriate use of health checks
The government must continue to protect people against the risks of total body scans. Because disorders can be found for which no prevention or treatment exists, mandatory permits should be retained for these scans. It seems to be rather unlikely that a total body scan can meet the conditions for responsible screening. That is the advice the Health Council of the Netherlands gives to the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport today in its report Checking checked: appropriate use of health checks.
