Recommended exposure limit for 1,2-dichloroethane

Occupational exposure to 1,2-dichloroethane can lead to cancer. The Health Council of the Netherlands has estimated the air concentrations at which the number of cancer cases due to occupational exposure is limited to predefined risk levels. Not only exposure of 1,2-dichloroethane by inhalation can be hazardous, skin contact can also attribute to the internal exposure.
