Removing remaining lead pipes

In some houses lead concentrations in the tap water are high. In particular this concerns old houses with lead indoor pipes. High concentrations of lead in tap water can also occur in new houses during the first months. High exposure to lead may result in health risks for young children. That is why the Health Council of the Netherlands advises to eliminate the remaining lead pipes. Further the council gives some behaviour recommendations for residents.
