Permit for first-trimester anomaly scan during sonographers’ training programme

The regional centres for prenatal screening have developed a training programme for those sonographers who will be carrying out first-trimester anomaly scans. The pregnant women who will participate for training purposes will be given a first-trimester anomaly scan in advance, conducted by an experienced trainer. The Health Council advises to grant the permit for this application.
