Recommendation for classification: Styrene presumed to be carcinogenic

The Health Council of the Netherlands advises the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment to classify styrene in hazard category 1B for carcinogenicity. There is limited, but sufficient evidence to presume that styrene is carcinogenic to humans.
